Biographical Text

Louise Palmer Vincent graduated from Wellesley and became an activist. She was a member of the American Fund for French Wounded, director of the Fatherless Children of France Fund, and commandant of the 6th National Service School of Chautauqua. Vincent wrote "Outdoor Life at Wellesley" for The Chautauquan.

Vincent married George Edgar Vincent in 1890. They had three children: Isabel, John H., and Elizabeth. Vincent died in 1953.
