Dear Mrs. Washington: --
I have just taken the great liberty with your name in the list of organizations interested in the new Woman's Peace Party, the literature about which I enclose.
I have included the National Association of Colored Women, with you as President. I am sure that you will want this, and there is no time to communicate with you for the list must go to press [today], but I am not afraid that in this great plan you would fail to concur, and I am sure of your Executive Board. This is at Miss Addams' suggestion.
I have been in Portage and have received the picture myself. It is so good, and I am more than glad to have it. Thank you again with my warm appreciation that you cared to send it to me. The Portage address will always reach me.
Faithfully yours,
