The Hon. Woodrow Wilson
President of the United States
Washington, D.C.

My dear Mr. Wilson:-

May I express my admiration of the message which accompanied your veto of the Immigration Bill, and assure you of the affection and warm appreciation with which your action has been received by many thousand immigrants and their friends.

I wish you might have heard some of our cosmopolitan callers who came to Hull-House last night, express their gratitude for your action.

Sincerely yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
