Biographical Text

Leo Arnstein was a businessman. He worked for J. H. Rossbach and Bros., Inc. and the Rossbach Brazil Co., serving as vice president and treasurer of the former. In addition, he was the director of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropic Associations, Henry Street Settlement, the Public Education Association, the National Child Labor Committee, and Mount Sinai Hospital. He was also Vice President of Mount Sinai Hospital. In 1934, Arnstein was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Central Savings Bank. Arnstein was involved in charity work.

Arnstein married Elsie Nathan in 1901. The couple had four children. Arnstein in 1944.
