My dear Miss Addams: --

Miss Whitcombe has asked me to meet you and do anything I may for you during your visit here. She is deeply disappointed that she cannot see you.

I know that many plans have been made for you, and I do not wish to add to your burden by asking for any of your [page 2] time while here, but I want you to know that I shall be most happy to do anything you may wish. Please telephone me if you want me to take you shopping or sight-seeing, as I am holding this time entirely in reserve for you and it will be a very great pleasure to assist you in any way.
