October 11, 1922.
Beloved Lady,
May I surmise that you are to be with us the week between your Philadelphia engagement on the 26th and the Montclair engagement the following Sunday? It is an awfully nice prospect and I will get the room and the apples ready.
Miss Sheepshanks is still here. She had her two weeks visit with me and now has taken a room over in Miss Conklin’s house, coming and going without any obligation of being a guest.
Affectionately, as always,
Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
800 South Halsted Street,
Chicago, Ill.
