Secretary to Wilbur Kelsey Thomas to Jane Addams, June 12, 1922

June 12, 1922

Miss Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

We gratefully acknowledge the receipt of the check for $10.00, given to the Russian Relief work by Mr. Morris Topchevsky, and kindly forwarded to us by you.

Mr. Topchevsky must know, perhaps as well as any of us, how greatly help is still needed and how much relief from suffering each gift brings. We certainly appreciate his support of our efforts to help the unfortunate famine victims. We are enclosing a recent report [which] tells something of the work we are now doing, and of our plans for the future. May we ask you to give it to him, [with] this expression of our thanks, when next he is with you.

Very sincerely yours,

Assistant Secretary.
