Senora Carmen de Burgos of Madrid asks if we have anything organized at Madrid if not she would gladly undertake it.
Being a professor of languages and literature at the Central Normal School she could easily make propaganda for the ideas of the League, she could also help us as she writes under the [pseudonym] of [Colombine] in one of the most important papers, The Heraldo of Madrid.
The letters she encloses were sent her from Melilla and describe the sufferings of the soldiers, they suffering ↑from↓ hunger, lack of medicines and in fact from a [illegible] etc.
She expected to be in Paris on May 20 and sees Madame Duchêne.
