Comment on Women in Industry, January 1919 (extract)

It is Miss Jane Addams' opinion that women will remain a factor in industry. Not to the extent of depriving man of his rightly earned job, but to a greater extent than previously. She looks forward to a gradual readjustment of conditions. As compared with Vice-President Marshall's wife's ideas about woman and the home, we choose Miss Addams' views.
