My dear Mr Hudson;

Thank you so much for sending me the [enclosed], I was especially glad to see the report on Russia.

Your first appointment on Thursday February 23rd is at 12.30 at the City Club, 315 Plymouth Court, near State ↑St↓ and [illegible] ↑Jackson Bld.↓ Everett Lothrop is the name of your friend and guide, he is the [assistant] director, in charge at present. Your next appointment is at 4 P.M. at the Chicago College Club at 151 North Michigan Ave. I will preside there and hope to be on hand when you arrive. You dine at Hull-House on Thursday evening at half past six.

I hope that we are not overdoing matters, certainly the League needs friends here, even Normal [Angell] gives it a new condemnation -- that it is being used by the Powers for their own selfish interests.

Hastily yours

Jane Addams [signed]
