Mrs. HENRY VILLARD

Dear Miss Addams,

I have received from Miss Kittredge the notice of my election as a fraternal delegate to represent the United States at the biennial conference to be held in Vienna, July 10 to 16, 1921. I deeply appreciate your kindness in suggesting that I be given an opportunity to be present on that occasion, and I have, after due deliberation, decided that I ought to attend it. That congress ought to be epoch making.

I am going to consult Mrs Merriman in regard to steamer reservations.
