Dearie
I took supper at your house tonight, your father was very dear, knew me quite unmistakably this time and asked me quite eagerly about you. I was newly impressed with his little nurse, it is her youth & good spirits I believe which carry her through so famously. Frank was just setting forth for the [illegible] when I came but looking very well and quite content.
I didn't get this finished on Sunday evening and here it is Tuesday. The rush is quite as usual but all is going a little better. Always yours J.A.
