Jane Addams to Florence Kelley, May 22, 1903

Dear Sister Kelley

Our daughter seems to be growing stronger and more cheerful --and her mind is certainly turning to going back to school. I think that if you gently broached the subject you would find her more than willing! On the Church matter she is cooler and says that "sometimes" she wants to, so of course I have dropped it. She is very [sweet] and gentle and goes to [bed] like a trump.

Mrs Schoff has written to me a long screed but [page 2] did not send me her address -- as you know every body in Phila. perhaps you will kindly forward it for me. Always yours Jane Addams.
