YOU HAVE BEEN APPEALED TO BY THE GERMAN WOMANS I HOLD IN MY HAND AS I WRITE THIS TELEGRAM A LUSITANIA METAL THREE AND ONE HALF [OUNCES] OF BRONZE THIS METAL WAS MADE TO CELEBRATE THE PREMEDIATED MURDER OF OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN MANUFACTURED PROBABLY FROM THE STOLEN POTS AND KETTLES AND ROOFS OF OUTRAGED FRANCE AND BELGIUM DISTRIBUTED ALL OVER GERMANY IN TENS OF THOUSANDS THESE WOMEN ARE THE SAME WHO MADE A HOLIDAY OF THIS [page 2] MURDER THESE [ARE] THE WOMEN WHO SPIT AT OUR SOLDIERS WHO CARRIED WATER TO OUR WOUNDED ONLY TO POUR IT ON THE GROUND BEFORE THEIR SUFFERING EYES YES LET US SEE THEM AFTER FRANCE BELGIUM ITALY AND ALL OUR ALLIES REMEMBER THEY ARE THE MOTHERS OF HUNS AND MAY YOU HOLD A LUSITANIA METAL IN YOUR HAND WHEN YOU ANSWER THEIR TELEGRAM.
