Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago.

Dear Miss Addams:

Since receiving your letter of January 22, I have received very many favorable comments on my peace problem from some of the greatest authorities in this country, from statesman as well as professors of international law. This gave me an opportunity to eliminate some objectionable features and perfect the problem by adding some new features.

I am sending you a copy of this last edition so that you may read it over and if you think it of merit, to bring it to the attention of some authorities who will have something to say in the prevention of future wars.

Very truly yours,

Emil G Beck [signed]
