Eleanor Daggett Karsten to Katherine Elizabeth Sihler, May 2, 1917

May 2nd, 1917.

My dear Miss Sihler: --

Your letter of May 1st has been referred to this office and I am writing to tell you that we should be very glad indeed to have you join the Woman's Peace Party. I am sending you some literature in reference to our work and am including in this a recently published program for work during war time, issued by the National Woman's Peace Party, and one issued by the Chicago Branch of the Woman's Peace Party. I am also sending an application for membership in our organization thinking you may wish to join, and, possibly, interest others in your neighborhood in the movement. We feel the more definite we can make our program of work the easier it is to rally people to it. Everyone in sympathy with us is eager for something to do.

Very sincerely yours,

Office Secretary.
