My dear Mr Lochner

Mr Ford is certainly past finding out I will waste no words on him but I wish I might find some adequate to express my sympathy for you. I do hope I can see you before I go south next Tuesday -- Feb'y 20" -- I am to be allowed to go via New York where we will have a meeting of the W. Peace Party on the 21st.

We organized an Emergency Federation yesterday and are planning for a big <Peace> meeting at the Coliseum next Sunday afternoon. Perhaps you will come on for that. I [page 2] am certainly going to suggest you as a speaker.

Please give my love to Mrs Lochner & Betty. I am still housed most of the time with this wretched bronchitis but hope to out soon. Hoping to see you before I leave Chicago, I am always faithfully yours

Jane Addams

P.S. I wrote you one or two letters to N.Y. addressing them c/o of the Neutral Conference Committee 70 Fifth Ave.
