Miss Jane Addams,
[Baymeath],
Bar Harbor, Me.

My dear Miss Addams:

I have received the last of your articles, and wish to say that I consider them interesting, logical and exceedingly well worked out. The article on Woman Suffrage seemed to me a very good one indeed, but if you wish to change it you will have at least a month in which to make any alterations you may desire or to write an entirely new article.

The matter of inserting the word "adult" in the places you mention has been attended to. In reading over the manuscript it occurred to me that you would wish to have this change made.

We have concluded that it will be well to release the first article on Wednesday, September 25, the others of the series to appear weekly thereafter. This arrangement will give me time to visit the eastern cities and close with publishers whom we hope to interest.

Yours very sincerely,

Virgil V. McNitt [signed]
