My Dear Mr. McCormick:--
For a number of years you have kindly sent an annual subscription of $100. for the running expenses of Hull-House. In looking over the books for this year, I find that you have not been a subscriber, possibly because I failed to remind you last July, which was the usual time for your check to come. Possibly the matter has not been an oversight merely, and in that case I am sure you will pardon my writing you in regard to the matter ↑it↓. It is needless to say that this is the time of year when we most keenly feel the need of funds, because we most desire to be of service to our neighbors.
