HULL-HOUSE
335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET
CHICAGO

My dear Miss Wald,

As Sept. draws near we remember the suggestion that possibly Miss Brown and yourself were coming to Hull-House at that time.

I am sure that I need not tell you how much we all anticipate a visit from you nor how uncommon glad we will be to see you. The house is torn up with repairs and building but next Sept. ↑week↓ it will have [page 2] subsided somewhat, and even if it does not we will be most happy to have you in it.

Margaret Kelly spoke so affectionately of you all that I am sure you would be quite touched to hear her and the entire household hopes that you are coming.  Will you please extend a cordial invitation to Miss Brown and believe me always

affectionately yours,

Jane Addams
