Mencken, Francis G. Newlands, Alice Paul, Key Pittman, Jenette Rankin, Theodore Roosevelt, Upton Sinclair, Margaret Chase Smith, Lincoln Steffens, Dorothy Thompson, Mabel Vernon, Charles Erskine, Scott Wood, Margaret Wood, and Maud Younger. The correspondence is supplemented by a large bulk of manuscripts and notes, pamphlets, magazine and newspaper clippings, campaign miscellany, suffrage material, personalia, and scrapbooks.
