The collection consists of records relating to the organization and history of the Neighborhood Union from 1908-1933. Includes outlines, programs, reports, minutes, and plans of organization. The collection documents the Union's unique style of social work among African Americans in Atlanta. Of particular note, it includes the Union's 1908 Constitution, the charter of 1911, its first published brochure, and plan of organization.
