Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
800 [Halsted] Street,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

I want to take this first opportunity to express my abiding appreciation for your very generous and effective support in the late campaign. I have no feeling other than that of genuine satisfaction to have been privileged to serve with you for the vital principles of the Progressive party. While we were submerged in the undertow of a nation-wide industrial depression, I am confident of the ultimate success of these principles. I shall hope to see you when I return to Chicago and be advised by you in the work immediately ahead of us for the political control of Chicago during the next four years.

With grateful appreciation,

Faithfully yours,

Item Relations
