My dear Marcet: --
I leave Friday night at half-past five for [Chautauqua], N.Y. where I "make a speech" on Saturday; from there I am going on to Boston. I should arrive there Sunday morning. I will go directly to the house of Mrs. Glendower Evans, 12 Otis Place. Please do meet me there if you are in Boston on Sunday. That will be the easiest way and we will go up to Bar Harbor together.
I hope you won't be too bored by our Peace talk, but it is a nice cool house and you can flee when it gets too bad. We are going to have our chance at Bar Harbor. I am so glad that you are coming.
Always devotedly yours,
Jane Addams [signed]

P.S. I am to leave [Chautauqua], or rather Westfield at 6.57 Saturday evening, arriving in Boston at 10.55 the next morning. That train leaves Chicago at 8.25 Saturday morning. Lake Shore.
<Perhaps you will take that & meet me.>
