My dear Miss Addams:
Unless your contracts and other engagements prevent, we would like very much indeed to secure from you a thousand word editorial on most any subject that you think would be of particular interest to our several million readers.
In each number of the magazine we make a feature of a signed editorial by some man or woman who is eminently qualified to speak on a chosen subject.
We are accustomed to paying fifty dollars each for these short editorials.
In the course of the next few weeks I trust you may find it possible to say something editorially to our readers and to hear from you with any suggestion you may wish to make as to the subject of the editorial.
Awaiting your reply and with the best regards,
I am,
Yours very truly,
Wm Griffith [signed]
