Dear Sir,

Miss Addams Else Münsterberg who has <by permission> translated Miss Jane Addams' "Twenty Years at Hull-House" into German, has written to Miss Addams asking whether she may be to say that the German publishing house which is to bring out the German translation does not wish to print the pictures & <except> wants a photograph of [page 2] Miss Addams as a [frontispiece]. Miss Addams is quite willing but if to have the book published without the illustrations but wishes this to be submitted to you before giving her final consent. Will you kindly let her know at your earliest convenience
