I desire to thank you for the corrected proof of your address which will be the copy used in the preparation of the University Record for January. The other proofs were designed simply for the press. The reporters were able to get the title from the Convocation progress.

It is I who have you to thank for the pleasure of the Convocation period. I value very highly the privilege of helping you even a little on that occasion.
