HULL-HOUSE,
335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET,
CHICAGO.

My dear Mrs Blaine,

Would you consider me importunate if I should ask that you send your Hull House check this week if it is consistent with your other plans?

The Christmas preparations for so many people seem to be [taxing] our resources beyond the limit of their [strength]. [page 2]

I am sorry to be such a bother. Would you be interested to hear of Mrs Van Der Vaart's investigations into the Child Labor conditions of the glass factories -- we have had some very interesting disclosures.

Always Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams
