Dear Miss Addams:-
In your letter of November 29th you say that you have been "more and more impressed with the stupidity of the lack of arrangements in dealing with the unemployment problem," and that you [saw] a thousand men leaving the harvest fields of North Dakota this Fall in a way that impressed you very much indeed. Would it not be possible for you to tell me a little about this in a letter which I could read at our meeing in Boston? It would be very interesting and very helpful, I am sure.
