Dear Madam: -

The Progressive Party is desirous of enlisting the [cooperation] of every earnest and able women in the work of promoting interest in suffrage and the protection of working women and children.

With this end in view, I am sending you the enclosed pamphlet which clearly defines the position of the party on the rights of women, and such other literature as is now available.

We wish to enroll as many club women as possible as members of the Progressive Party. Will you present this matter to your organization?
