Dear Lady:-

I am sending you a copy of the letter which I wrote to Miss Whitney. It isn't quite fair, I admit, and I do think she can do a certain type of work very well.

I received the fifteen dollars this morning. Thank you very much. I shall not see Mrs. Plummer until my return and I will then give you an accounting of what has been done.
