My dear Esther --
It was very nice to have your letters and to know that all is going well with Louise.
I am getting on very well at this mountain place -- but a maimed right arm doesn't improve my writing.
The [enclosed] cards might be sent to Jane to give away in her camp if she wants to, or if too late to keep for herself.
We are planning to land [at] Los Angeles & will of course see Stanley at [once]. I have had some very nice letters from him but not a word from Weber -- where is he? Alice Hamilton had heard that Mary landed in a very [illegible] state. Always yr loving Aunt
Love to the family.
