Ekaterina Karavelova (1860-1947): Bulgarian women's right activist, teacher, translator, and publicist; chairwomen of the Bulgarian branch of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom from 1925; vice-chairwomen of the Bulgarian Women's Union (Bulgarski Zhenski Sujuz) from 1915 to 1925.
