March 28.

My dear Mrs. Rich

Miss Addams gave me the enclosed letter just before I came away and I could not run down any funds for Belgian orphans. But I merely ↑hurridly↓ looked up telephone addresses and asked one or two people who used to be interested in Belgian relief.

If you can think of any way of enlightening the lady will [page 2] you tear up my letter to her and enclose the information in its place.

I hate to bother you but I feel guilty about my lack of success, Miss Addams is in Denver today but she would send her love from any quarter of the globe -- We are having a most restful and pleasant time barring this one little speaking Conf.

Always yours

Mary Rozet Smith
