Laura Thompson Brayton to Jane Addams, October 10, 1923

REEL0015_1508.jpg

My dear Miss Addams:

As I could not be present at the Home-Coming party to greet you, I am writing to tell you how greatly relieved and rejoiced we are to know that you are "safe and sound" at home again.

Please take the best of care of yourself and as correspondence means labor [page 2]  and not rest, I hope you will not try to answer this word of greeting.

With sincere and very affectionate best wishes, I am always

Very truly yours,

Laura T. Brayton.
