Budapest, 27th August 23.
Dear Miss Addams,
I was longing for further news about your health since I came home for a holiday. Now -- the day before I leave for Dresden -- I got a letter from Miss Balch telling me that Dr. Hamilton has left to meet you; I am so glad you have now two of the best and most competent friends at your side and hope that your way home will be a quiet and pleasant one.
We shall miss you at Dresden [page 2] very much, but it will be a comfort to know that you have overcome this attack of illness.
With the very best wishes for your well-being, hoping very much to get some direct news before long, I am
yours affectionately
Vilma Glücklich
Kindest regards to Miss Smith and Dr. Hamilton.
