CHICAGO

22 November 1921.

Dear Lady: --

I reached home safely Monday Morning, and am once more grateful to your household for much charming hospitality.

I am much cheered by the prospect of your going to Washington with me, but as both Mabel Kittredge and Mrs. Odell seem anxious to have me come early, would it be possible to leave Chicago for Washington Tuesday evening, December 6th? It may be foolish for me to do that as I have to go to New York from Washington for Friday the 9th. But do regard it as a possibility.

In that case, you would have to arrive in Chicago early Tuesday morning so that you could see the Parker School and ↑for↓ I am sure that you would get some light and leading form Miss [Cooke].

With affectionate greetings to the entire Taussig family

Devotedly yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
