JULIA C. LATHROP
1204 NATIONAL AVENUE
ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS

Dear J. A.

The enclosed explains itself. I am sorry to find that I do not recall all the names and offices though I'm sure the list was imposing.

Mrs Kelley and Mrs [Stevens] and myself are very [precise?] limit at the moment. If you can add please do so and if not too much trouble send to Mr. [Browne] [page 2]

I am shocked to find that I have not thanked you for sending me a copy of your book. I thought I should see you yesterday but the telephone was busy when I called twice.

Perhaps I shall have better luck Saturday. Ann and I are going west for a month.

The book is a treasure I hope Miss Starr will be willing to bind. I have not read it ↑all↓ yet but we are all in debt to you for putting that record in paper in so inspiring and candid a form.

Yours always affectionately ,

Julia C. L.
