My dear Miss Addams:
We are really anxious to publish your address in full in the Alumna issue which we hope will to go press at the end of next week, so if by any possibility you could at least give us in a couple of typewritten pages a digest of your speech, we would publish that and the text of your address later. Perhaps, however, this would be as much work as running over the whole address, but I am telling you what we would like to have in case you find time to do it now.
With best wishes, I am
Cordially yours,
Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.
