Biographical Text

Hubert Higgins was a surgeon and demonstrator of anatomy at Cambridge University and the author of Humaniculture, which advocated for losing weight by eating little food. Higgins also practiced medicine in Italy. He often worked alongside Dr. Horace Fletcher, who shared his ideology.

Higgins died in 1952.
