Dear Aunt Jane
Your letter came this morning with the splendid accounts of Jack's work at the front. I shall put the copies with everything else of the kind away for Winthrop to have when he grows up. He is now in Florida with my mother. I am here for more of the operations on my nose but leave for Florida on Sunday.
I will give Winthrop your Christmas present & then he will write [page 2] you what he has done with the money. He is splendidly well. I wish you could see him.
Thank you for sending the copies of these splendid letters.
Yours most sincerely
Ethel Winthrop Allen
