24th January 1922.
My dear Miss Addams,
I am so much obliged for your letter of the 5th December with its valuable suggestions. I would have written before but was expecting to be able to give you definite news of the formation of a committee that would undertake the arrangements for the tour in the States. I am at present in communication with Professor Kandel of Teachers College, New York, who has been making enquiries, and I shall be very glad to let you know how matters develop.
The interest that is being taken in the Exhibition in this country, is most encouraging: we have had to divide it into three sections in order to meet the many demands and by the time it leaves it will have been practically fully booked for eighteen months. In addition to its artistic interest and educational value it is proving a real influence towards a better international understanding.
With very many thanks for your encouraging interest and advice,
Very cordially yours,
