My dear Miss Nestor:-

In response to your kind acceptance to take part in the hearing at Springfield, the Committee has put your name in the enclosed list of speakers. We have ventured to give you a subject, as it is most important that the twenty-five speakers should not overlap each other. In case you would like to have the subject modified, the matter could be considered on the special train. May we ask you to take pains to limit your speech to the allotted three minutes?
