WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

February 14,
1922

My dear Mrs. Odell: --

I was a little [embarrassed] to have had the enclosed invitation sent to me instead of to you. I hope to be in Baltimore for part of the time and should be glad to represent the League if you care to appoint me. But if you have some one in mind who could get hold of the South American situation better, I am sure you know that I would be very glad to have such a person appointed.

I also had a very cordial note from Mrs. Park expressing the hope that I would represent the League in person. But that again is for our League rather than theirs.

How are our plans coming on for the annual meeting?

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
