5 December 1921.

Mr. Bertram Hawker,
East Runton,
Cromer, England.

My dear Mr. Hawker: --

I am very apologetic for delaying my reply to your letter in regard to Dr. Cižek's Art Exhibit. We have, however, succeeded in interesting one of the very enthusiastic trustees of the Chicago Art Institute, which would be, of course, the very best place for the exhibit.

I would suggest Mr. Arthur Aldis as a member of the committee, and also Mrs. William North, one of the trustees, of the Public School Art Society, and I would try to get in touch with Miss Silke in regard to it. Doubtless you will hear directly from Mr. Aldis.

I recall Mr. and Mrs. Buxton with much pleasure, and am very grateful to you for writing to me as I am a great admirer of Prof. Cižek's work of which I saw something last summer in Vienna.

Very cordially yours,
