My dear Mrs Barrows
I am sorry to have delayed the [enclosed] so long. I made my last address on Friday and got at this on Sunday. Will you say to Mr Barrows that I should be very glad to have the address used by the Maynard Agency, but hope, as he suggests to see the abstract.
You are very good to suggest a sojurn at Cedar Lodge, I wish that I might come but find that I shall be [head] here all summer. We are anticipating your daughter with [page 2] much pleasure and hope that we may see you then. Always faithfully yours
