Dear Emily Balch

I am sending you these two news sheets [although] I should like the Nov one back for the sake of the  addresses of the "youth" list.

The International House is started at last isn't it, I am very glad. The Washington meeting is Dec 10" and I shall hope to see you then. I don't believe that you would [better] try for Chicago if you aren't up to much exertion, both Miss Boynton & Mrs Mathes will see you in Washington & they are two of our best.

Hoping you are better, I am Always devotedly yours Jane Addams

P.S. I got my book off to Macmillan today, I have been slow!

We have had a meeting of the Russia Committee today. I think that we ought to get two series of resolutions ready -- one on Austria, urging Congress to do the very important thing, and one on Russia urging a governmental appropriation of fifty million. We could get them passed everywhere I am sure.

I am sending you this touching letter from Ukraine, please return it.
