Welcome home.

My dear Jane Addams.

We have all missed you much, while taking pride in your new achievements abroad.

It must have cheered your heart so much to be in the freer atmosphere of  the very "elect" from so many peoples, and, for a while, to be out from under the atmospheric pressure, the weight of which upon us all lightens so slowly. Sept 6, I bore your birthday in mind and would have mailed or wired [page 2] you a message of remembrance had you been within reach.

Hoping you return in good health and with a heart-full of good-cheer -- for all of which you and we stand in need as seldom before.

Cordially

Graham Taylor.
