My dear Marcet

We do not want the matter made public as yet but Mrs Post and I have already obtained our passports and engaged our passage for April 9th in order to attend our International Congress. The others are coming on we hope but I will [enclose] a letter we are sending out today instead of writing a long explanation.

I do hope that I can see you before I go, and surely I must have a letter from you before I leave H. H. Sunday April 6". Dorothy North goes on the same boat, -- the Noordam ↑Holl-Am line↓ landing at Havre France. [page 2].

I am going to Cedarville for a visit before I go and will write you after that.

You have never written about the little niece, did she come on from Philadelphia and have you one little girl or three at the present moment? How is Alice, I am plain homesick to see her. Do write me a letter even a little one, and give my love to Manuel and Alice. I am always your devoted Aunt Jane Addams
