Dear Miss Addams:

The Pennsylvania Branch of the W.I.L.P.F. is planning to either entertain the two members of the W.I.L. Section for Ireland, or to hold a public meeting for them, and we hope that you can put us in touch with them, and advise us if they are both good speakers. I mean, of course, Louie Bennett, and the other Irish member of the W.I.L.P.F. who are testifying before the Irish Commission in Washington.

I hope to soon have your acceptance to my telegram of yesterday asking you to be the Chairman of a Mass Meeting on Disarmament to be held in Philadelphia either Sunday evening, February 13" or 20" or some other night that is convenient to you.

Isn't it a very strange feeling to be a pacifist and popular at the same time?
